ASR notifies people when organisation templates change site assessments, and when a site assessment they own is updated by someone else.
Notification preferences
Under your account notification settings, the Risk Assessments group includes:
Organisation template changed (site assessments affected) — when an organisation template is updated or re-opened for amendment in a way that affects site copies.
Risk assessment updated — when a site assessment's content is updated by someone other than the assessment owner.
Both can send email as well as in-app notifications, depending on your preferences.
Review reminders
Assessments with a review schedule can generate review-due emails (for example due in 7 days, due today, or overdue). Those reminders are separate from the two preference toggles above — keep Assessment owner and Review interval (months) set so the right person is chased, and use Record review date when you've checked the assessment.
What to do when you're notified
Open the assessment from the notification or from Standards > Risk Assessments.
If an organisation template changed, check what was overwritten or needs local refinement, then publish a new site version if needed.
If your assessment was updated, review the changes and confirm residual scores, actions and supporting documents still make sense.
If a review is due, check the content and choose Record review date.
If you aren't getting notifications
Check you're the Assessment owner where ownership drives the update notification.
Check your Risk Assessments notification preferences aren't turned off.
Check you still have access to the site.
Check spam for mail from A Safer Risk.
For changing preferences in general, see How to choose which notifications you receive in Getting Started.
