Almost everything in ASR belongs to a site, so the site you have selected changes what you see nearly everywhere. This is the single most common reason something looks missing.
Where the site selector is
Look at the lighter bar just below the main menu. It shows your organisation's name and logo on the left, and the site selector next to it.
Click the selector to choose a site. If you have several, use Search sites... to filter. A site with no match shows No sites found.
What "All sites" means
All sites is the default. Lists, dashboards and counts then cover every site you have access to, combined.
Pick a single site instead when you want to focus — working through one site's actions, or completing that site's checks. Switch back to All sites for the overview.
Your choice sticks. ASR remembers it per organisation, so you'll come back to the same site next time rather than having to reset it.
If you only have one site
Where you're assigned to exactly one site, the selector is fixed and shows that site's name. Hover it and you'll see "You have access to this site only". That's your access working as intended, not a fault — if you need another site, your administrator can assign it to you.
Who sees which sites
Admins, client admins and area managers — every site in the organisation.
Site managers, team members and viewers — only the sites they've been assigned to.
Consultants and auditors — all sites at the client they're working on.
So if a colleague can see a site and you can't, the difference is site assignment, and an administrator can change it in their settings.
Locations within a site
Larger sites can be broken into locations — a kitchen, a floor, a unit. Where these are set up, some areas of ASR offer a location filter as well, and checks can be scheduled per location so each area gets its own checklist.
Switching organisation
If you belong to more than one organisation, click your name at the top right and use the Organisation section of the menu to switch. ASR reloads into that organisation, and your site selection is remembered separately for each one.
Consultants see their organisations grouped under Consultancy and Clients, with Search clients… for filtering longer lists. Choosing a client opens their data; Back to your own organisation returns you.
Seeing Select an organisation means no organisation is active yet — choose one to carry on.
A habit worth forming
When something looks wrong — a checklist you expected isn't listed, an action has vanished, a dashboard reads zero — check the site selector first. Nine times out of ten you're looking at one site when you meant to look at all of them, or the other way round.
