How to manage your account and profile

Change your name, photo, email address and password, and find the other settings tabs.

Your name, photo, email address and password all live in one place.

Getting there

  1. Click your name or picture at the top right.

  2. Choose Settings.

  3. Open the Account tab.

No Settings in your menu? It's only shown to administrators and auditors. If you need your name or password changed and can't get to it, ask your administrator.

Your name and photo

Under Profile:

  • Change Picture — upload a photo. Your picture appears against checks you complete and actions you own, which makes it much easier for colleagues to see who did what.

  • Full Name — choose Edit, make the change, then Save. Cancel discards it.

Worth getting your name right: it's what colleagues see when an action is assigned to them or a checklist is signed off, and it appears in exported reports.

Your email addresses

Under Email you'll see your Primary Email — the one that receives all ASR notifications — and any others on your account. Each is marked Verified or Unverified.

You can:

  • Add Email Address — you'll need to verify it from a link we send.

  • Set as Primary — move your notifications to a different verified address.

  • Remove — delete an address you no longer use.

An address has to be verified before it can become your primary, so check for the verification email before switching.

Your password

Under Password, choose Change Password and fill in Current Password, New Password and Confirm New Password.

If you've forgotten your current password, sign out and use the reset option on the sign-in page instead — that emails you a link. Nobody at your organisation, and nobody here, can see or set your password for you.

If your organisation uses single sign-on, your password is managed by your work account and this section won't apply.

Security

The Security section lists Two-Factor Authentication and Active Sessions. Both currently show Feature coming soon — they're placeholders rather than settings you can change today.

The other Settings tabs

  • Notifications — choose which events email you and which appear in the app. See How to choose which notifications you receive.

  • Users and Roles — invite people and set their access.

  • Organisation — sites, locations, members and your organisation's logo.

You may see fewer tabs than a colleague; they depend on your role and what's enabled.

Leaving the organisation

If you're moving on, ask an administrator to remove your access. Before that happens it's worth reassigning any actions you own so they don't sit with a departed account — see How to update several actions at once for the quick way to move them in bulk.
